New Student Orientation is a great opportunity for you —and your family—to get familiar with WNCC, and learn what to expect in the year ahead. The event includes a complimentary lunch in Bishop Dining Hall for you and up to two (2) guests. We look forward to welcoming you to the Cougar family!
Questions & Answers
NSO, which stands for New Student Orientation, is how incoming WNCC students get introduced to everything they need to be successful here! NSO is two-fold; the first part is the online course in Blackboard and the second part is the in-person event hosted on Scottsbluff campus on August 15th. We will cover everything from discussing expectations of students to peer teambuilding. Don't worry, we'll feed you and your guests lunch, too!
It is HIGHLY encouraged that you attend NSO! If you are absolutely unable to attend, make sure you are going through the online Blackboard new student orientation course for all important information.
New WNCC students can move in to the residence halls on Thursday, August 14th. Our housing staff will have activities and sessions in the evening to help prepare you for NSO the next day. Make sure you are signed up for housing before you arrive to campus to move in!
We have all new students attend NSO at Scottsbluff on August 15th. This helps ensure all students receive the same information and connect with other students.
